Over 50 Disney Channel stars from around the globe convened at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for "Disney Channel Games," featuring comical relay races, grand scale obstacle courses and all-out fun challenges in five special half-hour telecasts, "Disney Channel Games," to be presented each week beginning SUNDAY, JULY 27 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Hosted by funny-man Brian Stepanek ("The Suite Life of Zack & Cody"), the games are fun, colorful and larger than life, but the competition is real and the young competitors are determined to win the prize -- the Disney Channel Games Cup. The special telecasts are highlighted by a post-Games concert featuring performances by Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, The Cheetah Girls, Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt.

Each of the four subsequent "Disney Channel Games" 2008 special telecasts will be presented Saturdays (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) through August 30.
In the premiere telecast on Sunday, July 27 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT), the stars are divided into four teams -- The Comets, The Cyclones, The Inferno and The Lightning – and Team Captains are chosen. Then they must build a chariot and race it to the finish. At the post-games concert, Miley Cyrus performs songs from her new album "Breakout."

On Saturday, August 2, the teams must weave through an obstacle course while linked together, among other games and challenges. Platinum recording artists Jonas Brothers perform music from the forthcoming album, "Just a Little Bit Longer."

On Saturday, August 9,
Disney Channel stars must match their rival teammates to their baby pictures or face making a splash in the dunk booth. The telecast features a performance by Jordan Pruitt.

On Saturday, August 16,
the teams hunker down for a human foos ball match and the Jonas Brothers, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, and The Cheetah Girls all face off in an intense "Tug of Four" competition. At the post-games concert, Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers perform.

On Saturday, August 30,
the teams compete in the UltraMegaUltimateObstac-tacular Relay Challenge, racing in giant hamster balls while maneuvering through obstacles. The "Disney Channel Games" 2008 Closing Ceremonies features a concert by The Cheetah Girls.
